The patented Rooftop Defense Systems® from Grease Guard are so effective at containing grease and oils from rooftop exhaust systems, that Underwriters Laboratories Inc. has listed it for effectiveness and safety. This is the most oil absorbent, noncombustible, rainproof, structurally sound, closed, listed, grease containment system on the market today.

The Grease Guard and Drip Guard are comprised of a patented fiber filter system that absorbs and traps grease and oil, keeping them off the roof. The system begins with the grease deflecting flashing, which channels all contaminants discharged from the exhaust fan into the G2® Grease Guard® filter system. The contaminants and rainwater are captured in the porous top pre-filter and then dispersed toward the Advanced Filter Composite®.

The Advanced Filter Composite® consists of transfer, absorption and barrier filter layers.
